excerpt from previous Course
An excellent course. More than exceptional value for money and the time required to attend. The instructor’s obvious willingness to pass on their hard won experience to us rookies was superb. Field trips to Lewis Pass and Ben McLeod Station were well organised and a highlight. (John)
I really enjoyed the course. Although I had a lot of previous experience with bushcraft and navigation (old map and compass approach), it was great to re-fresh on these and learn about the modern GPS units and how they could be used. I particularly enjoyed the hunt specific training and all the great yarns from the instructors. These are what makes the hunting community so enjoyable. Working with Pete on Ben McLeod was an absolute highlight of the trip. (Adrian)
I really appreciate the passion and selflessness of the all the instructors through the course. I know NZDA did not want to make a profit from the course; however, I would still join the course if NZDA charges double for the course. I am very impressed that course put ethics as a priority of the training. I also encourage my other friends to be responsible gun owners, to protect our privilege to own a firearm. (Owen)
